Worship Arts
Let everything that has breath praise the LORD. Psalm 150:6
Saint Joseph Worship Arts ministries provide opportunities for musicians, artists and volunteers to express themselves in service to God through their talents and crafts.
PRAISE & WORSHIP TEAMS
Our contemporary praise teams are always seeking new singers, drummers, guitar, bass, and keyboard players for both the Sanctuary and HEbrews Joe services. If you play a wind, brass, string or other percussion instrument, there are opportunities to play at special occasions as well. Whether an expert or beginner, there's a place for you.
CHANCEL CHOIR
The Chancel Choir is open to high school age through adults who enjoy singing traditional choral music. Under the direction of Bill Heins (former choral director of Northrop High School), they primarily sing at the 11:15 Sanctuary Service from September through June. The Chancel Choir meets Wednesday evenings 6:30 – 8 p.m. in room C13-15.
HANDBELLS
The Jubilate Ringers is open to youth and adults who already have experience in ringing handbells or choir chimes. They meet in the Sanctuary on Tuesdays 7:30-8:30 p.m. There is also a beginner ensemble, open to 6th grade through adults, where no experience is necessary. Beginners don't need to know how to read music; everything will be taught one step at a time. There is also a children's chime choir.
