At United Women in Faith, we are a sisterhood of grace in action, passionately living out our faith through service, leadership, and spiritual growth. As a community of women at St. Joe UMC, we are committed to deepening our relationship with God while making a meaningful impact in the world.
Our faithful commitment to Christ calls us to support, encourage, and empower one another through prayer, study, and service.
We strive to be fearless in our advocacy and outreach—boldly working for justice, uplifting women and children, and addressing the needs of our community and beyond.
And we believe in being fruitful—putting our faith into action in ways that transform lives, strengthen our church, and bring hope to those in need.
Wherever you are on your journey, you are welcome here. Come grow with us as we connect, serve, and make a difference together.
United Women in Faith (UWF) at St. Joe offers a variety of opportunities for women to learn, serve, and build community across all three campuses. Study circles and Bible studies meet at both the Bethany and Center Campuses, providing women with flexible ways to engage Scripture, grow spiritually, and support one another through discussion and prayer. Smaller hobby-based groups meet at the Center Campus for sewing, knitting, and crochet, where participants work on personal and mission-oriented projects while enjoying fellowship and shared creativity.
In addition to weekly and monthly gatherings, UWF hosts several larger events throughout the year. Summer luncheons at the Bethany Campus provide an easy on-ramp for new relationships and intergenerational connection, while the Christmas luncheon offers a festive gathering at the Christmas Campus that celebrates the season and highlights ongoing mission initiatives. Women from any campus are encouraged to attend and bring guests.
Service and fundraising efforts are also part of the ministry’s rhythm. The annual spring rummage sale—held at the Center Campus—mobilizes volunteers from across the church and helps fund mission partnerships and local outreach benefiting women, children, and families. These practical efforts give women tangible ways to live out their faith while supporting the wider community.
Whether participating in study circles, creative small groups, luncheons, or service projects, United Women in Faith provides pathways for women from all campuses to connect, contribute, and grow together in meaningful community.
