Worship can take many forms but one of the most common and fulfilling in the life of faith is through music. We have many expressions of worship through music at both campuses. Worshiping and growing closer to Jesus is an essential part of our church. We have many talented artists who help lead us each week.

The contemporary worship ministry aims to provide modern musical stylings, as well as a variety of contemporary expressions, to bring glory to God in worship. Corporate worship is a uniquely distinct moment in time for believers to express their thanks and praise to God, and using art and music that speaks to the believer's heart only helps to elevate our worship.

Coming together to praise God for all that He has done is a foundational piece of our community. Sometimes that worship takes different forms at St. Joe at the Y. Regardless of how we worship, we remember to do it in connection with each other and to God.

Traditional
at St. Joe at Reed Road
The Traditional Worship Music Ministries at St Joe UMC provide beautiful choral and handbell music that enhances the 11:00 traditional sanctuary worship experience. This music is intended to be #FOR you and your family as you listen to God's word.

Our Chancel Choir is a 40 voice choir that encompasses a wide variety of ages. We also support our Choral Scholar intern program by including music students from local universities as section leaders. The choir has an amazing devotion to excellence, to faith, and to conveying God's word to all who participate, and all who hear. Our Handbell Choir is a group of very devoted ringers who also live their faith and share their talents. This group provides beautiful bell music for our 11:00 worship service.
