The St. Joe Endowment exists to strengthen the mission and future of our church by providing long-term financial support for ministry. Unlike regular giving, which funds the daily work of the church, an endowment focuses on the future. Gifts made to the endowment are invested, and only the income generated from those investments is used to support ministry. This means every gift has a lasting impact—continuing to bear fruit year after year while the principal remains intact.
Individuals and families can participate in the endowment in a variety of ways, including legacy gifts, planned giving, or designated contributions during their lifetime. These gifts make it possible to support ministry initiatives such as evangelism and outreach, family ministries, fine arts, facilities and equipment, and other mission-focused projects that extend beyond the church’s annual budget.
The purpose of the St. Joe Endowment is to offer members and friends a meaningful way to express generosity that continues beyond their lifetime. It provides a secure and accountable structure for receiving, stewarding, and distributing gifts in ways that bless the church, the community, and future generations. Through this fund, individuals who have practiced a life of giving can continue making an impact that aligns with their values and passions well into the future.
If you are interested in learning more about how the endowment works or how to include the church in your legacy planning, a member of the Endowment Team would be glad to connect with you, answer questions, and help you explore options that honor both your intentions and the mission of St. Joe.
