Learn More About Who We Are...
At St. Joe UMC, ministry is more than just programs—it’s how we live out our faith together. Whether you’re seeking a place for your family to grow in Christ, a way to serve the community, or a group to walk alongside you in prayer and discipleship, there’s a ministry for you. From Faith in Motion Dance Studio to Keystone: Seniors For the Fort, from United Women in Faith to For People Missions, we are committed to creating spaces where people of all ages can connect, grow, and make a difference.
Our Prayer Ministry offers support and encouragement, lifting up the needs of our church and beyond. Every ministry reflects our core values of being faithful, fearless, and fruitful—helping people grow in faith, step out in bold service, and live lives that make an impact. No matter where you are on your journey, you belong here.

Who’s Invited?
At St. Joe, we want connection to feel simple and welcoming. Each of our ministry lanes has a unique focus, but all share a posture of open hospitality. If you’re ever unsure about whether something is “for you,” this will help:
For All includes the gatherings, events, studies, and social spaces that are open to everyone—regardless of age, stage of life, or campus. These are our broadest community-building environments where the whole church can come together.
United Women in Faith (UWF) welcomes all women who desire fellowship, spiritual growth, and service. Whether you love Bible studies, lunches, craft groups, or mission projects, you’ll find an easy place to step in.
Prayer & Care serves two kinds of people: those who need support and those who feel called to provide it. Anyone can request prayer, pastoral care, or encouragement, and anyone can join in praying for others, writing notes, or helping with visitation.
Keystone is designed for adults 55 and older who are looking for community with peers. Keystone offers fellowship, trips, studies, and service opportunities that support friendship and purpose in this stage of life.
For the Harmony invites anyone with musical or technical interest—from seasoned singers to curious beginners—to participate in choirs, worship bands, handbells, or audio/visual production. Skill levels vary widely, and enthusiasm is always welcome.
For Men brings together men of all ages who want to grow in faith, friendship, leadership, and service. Coffee groups, breakfasts, and studies provide easy entry points for building meaningful relationships.
For Families supports households with children and students through discipleship, fellowship, and family-focused events. Parents and guardians find encouragement and resources, while kids and youth find community and faith formation.
The heartbeat behind all of this is simple: we want you to know where you belong and how you can participate. Each ministry event will be communicated under one of these ministries based on the answer to the question, "Who's Invited?" Wherever you find yourself, there’s a place for you at St. Joe.
